Got myself a new sponsee yesterday and not before time as I think I can handle the task, plus it’s been several years since the last one died. Anyhow he’s been sponsored before so thinks he knows what to expect. I will be adopting my patented two pronged approach of big book recovery supplemented by shaming tactics. Only gave him one directive today and that’s to appear at all times weller [as in more well] than my mate Sean’s sponsees who really are the most Ungodly rabble. He said what if he didn’t feel all that well so I told him to bluff it as that’s what I’ve been doing for years. I also gave him a bit of advice though I don’t remember him asking me for any along the lines of if he should pick up a drink again to go to meetings outside the local area as I won’t have his failure reflecting on me!
Update may well have picked up another Sponsee this one also called Sean. I think i will call him “Well Sean” to save any confusion!
