Must say yesterday went splendidly on the Steps front. It was only later that i get to thinking about a couple of things my man said mostly in regards of his experience with the Big Book Study people [find out what this is for yourself...google it maybe]. in a nutshell my man has been put through thee most revolutionary process known to humanity and has come out the other end having learned absolutely nothing about his disease. When i say thee most revolutionary process i mean the Big Book Programme not the above. The lad is intelegent and would have learned if the Teacher had something to teach unfortunately it's the blind leading the blind only with the added power to actually kill. What preempted this broadside was being told by a man desperate to get well [sic] that he knew it wasn't my job to listen to his problems. After getting home I thought about this and the outcome was I volunteered to support a man through a 12 Step Process which very much includes his problems. When he comes out the other end armed with the facts i will not be listening to his problems much other than to point out that he knows what to do. This info has been relayed to him with love with the added point that it might be best to forget what the Boyos told him as it appears to amount to nothing but abuse!
