Treading a thin line between Spiritual Giant and Mental Defective is taking a toll on me over the last week or so. On the one hand I’m up for my recovery and life in general and doing quite nicely thank you very much. Compare this with my dealings with work and my Doctor, who by the way i have an appointment to see this evening where I am pleading Insanity and displaying symptoms akin to Depression/Anxiety all to achieve another 4 week sick note from the Doctor and keep the Suits in line so I continue to get paid. Something will have to go and with the twisted thinking I’m used to that would be the positive healthy things in favour of the negative counterproductive behaviours a role I know very well how to play. Thankfully I’m under new management [no not at work silly] and will make the leap of faith into the unknown territory of wellness. Could this type of Higher Being thinking be extended to my musical tastes where this morning I was listening to the exquisitely beautiful Josh T. Pearson album “The Last Of The Country Gentlemen” followed by a blast from the Lurkers. Let’s hope not as some things are more important than mere Sanity and my Soul feels enriched by Josh and the Boys!
