Being a lifelong believer in equality, the working man and armed struggle i was disheartened to watch the ANC centenary celebrations and be aware that 40% of the South African people are unemployed, have not got basic amenities and that corruption is now out of control among the leadership of this once proud organisation.Closer to home as Gerry Adams and Martin McGuinness collect their considerable expenses from HM's government there is probably a whole generation of brave men and women [Bobby Sands, Kieran Dougherty, Joe McDonnell to name but three] lying in Belfasts Hallowed Republican Plot who are wondering what their huge sacrifice actually achieved. The answer to that is a sobering thought to all those who care!
