School's out 1972 release by 5 decade spanning rock god. Came out in the glam rock period which was in full swing and offering up the idea that ‘’schools out forever’’ and boy did we all wish that was true. Of the twenty seven pupils and ex pupils of my school to die in the troubles, three were killed accidentally, three by the IRA, one died on hunger strike and twenty were killed by loyalist paramilitaries [http://stellamarissecondary.com/pupilsdeceased.html]. When I first came across this site I was deeply moved by the story and disturbed that I had forgotten so many tragic events. Sadder still is that this tragic set of events barely scratches the surface of the pain we all felt.
