Queen of rock 'n' roll this album was released in 1971 a year after tragic death at the age of 27. This album is full of cracking songs and fantastic vocals. ''Lord won't you buy me a mercedes benz my friends all drive porches i must make amends'' [sounds like an anthem for the souless capitalist consumers i see everyday clogging up malls and retail outlets].

james - whiplash

Always loved James and this is a great introduction to their music from 1997. I always find their songs very spiritual but that's just me. Others find there own ways to achieve spiritual harmony in the USA you can attack abortion clinics and in the good old North of Ireland you can march mindlessly up and down other peoples streets [see last nights news for the inevitable outcome of this alleged religious inspired fuck up].
