Natural Order Has Been Restored!

Anyone who reads this knows I'm a strange boy and think slightly off centre most of the time. As an example I've been pondering that when Whitney died we had endless wall to wall coverage for a week and when Davy Jones died he was allowed to bang out a couple of verses of Day Dream Believer but when Frank Carson died he was not even allowed one last trademark "It's the Way I Tell Them" before we moved on. so to restore balance i would like to tell one of his jokes that i heard at least 30 years ago and it's still as funny.

15 year old boy turns up at an Undertakers for Work Experience. The Undertaker has nothing for him to do so tells him to just go down to the basement and wash the body of a 23 year old woman who had died in a car crash. A few hours later the boy having not returned the Undertaker goes down to check on him. The boy says to the Undertaker that the woman has a Prawn sticking out of her fanny [UK meaning of the word]. The Undertaker has a look sees the woman shaves and says no son that's not a Prawn it's her Clitoris. To which the boy replies "Well it tastes like a Prawn".

Now that was worth retelling and lives long in the memory so goodbye Frank!

Throwing Some Shapes!

Off to do a talk at an AA meeting tonight on Step 11 which is to do with prayer and meditation guess they wanted an idiots guide. Anyhow i wasn't sweating it and was going to listen to a few AA talks on the subject matter and pilfer the good bits for later only to find that my whole collection of 100's of talks has gone from the computer. Not sweating that either just yet as i got some recovery software which might locate them. So now i have to go and do the talk with just my own experience to fall back on and between me and you the most enlightenment i can throw on the subject would be the effects of not practising these disciplines on a sober Alcoholics quality of life. That should get them on their knees if nothing else can. Meanwhile i am back in the grove on these 2 disciplines for now!
