ray davies - other people's lives

Solo release from head "Kink" Ray Davies still got the pulling power to have a top 40 album in 2006. Full of great lyrics on tracks like "Things Are Gonna Change (The Morning After)"  and "Is There Life After Breakfast?" Once seen a documentary about how Ray moved from his Terraced House in Muswell Hill into a Mansion as the Kinks Royalty's began to pour in. Two weeks later he left the Mansion and returned to the Terraced House in Muswell Hill and gave the reason I'm just a working class local boy [or something like that].

doors - morrison hotel

5th album [1970] released after the.critically panned "Soft Parade" which one renowned critic described as "the most horrifying rock and roll I have ever heard". This album which has more of a Blues feel was much more warmly welcomed by fans and critics. No big hits here but great tunes.

radiohead - glastonbury 1997

As this Album proves beyond any shadow of a doubt Radiohead where head and shoulders above the competition in 1997. I love this its got such a powerful sound and the track list is mighty impressive and the crowd where obviously enjoying every minute of it. Check out the video footage of this performance its great a living record of a group at their prime.

British singer/songwriter who has been round and about for many years now. Has produced albums with a couple of my favourites "16 Horsepower" "Eels" "Sparklehorse" and "PJ Harvey".
